We take great care in ensuring that every order reaches you safely, promptly, and beautifully packaged. This Shipping Policy outlines how we process, ship, and deliver your orders placed on www.thefifthnote.in.
1. Shipping Coverage
We currently ship to all major cities and towns across India through our trusted courier partners.
If your location is not serviceable by our delivery partners, our team will contact you to arrange an alternative solution or issue a full refund.
At this time, we do not offer international shipping, but we’re working towards expanding globally soon.
2. Order Processing Time

All confirmed orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Saturday, excluding public holidays).

Once processed, your order is handed over to our courier partner for delivery.

During sales, holidays, or new launches, processing times may extend slightly due to high order volumes.
You will receive an email and/or SMS confirmation with your tracking details once your order has been shipped.
3. Estimated Delivery Timelines
Our average delivery timelines (after dispatch) are as follows:

Please note: Delivery times may vary depending on your pin code, local courier operations, or unforeseen circumstances such as weather, strikes, or festivals.
4. Shipping Charges

Free Shipping on all prepaid orders across India.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, a nominal ₹50 handling fee may apply.

Shipping fees (if applicable) will be clearly shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
5. Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email or SMS.
You can use this link to monitor the real-time status of your shipment.
If you face any issue with tracking updates or the status remains static for more than 3 business days, please contact us at support@thefifthnote.in with your order ID.
6. Delivery Attempts

Our courier partners will make up to two delivery attempts.

If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, please contact the courier directly or reach out to us so we can coordinate redelivery.

Orders undelivered due to incorrect addresses, contact details, or repeated delivery failures will be marked as Return to Origin (RTO).

In such cases, we can reship the order once it returns to us, but additional shipping charges may apply.

7. Order Modifications & Cancellations

Orders can only be modified or cancelled before they are shipped.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled or redirected.

To request a cancellation or change, please email us immediately at support@thefifthnote.in with your Order ID and “Cancel/Modify Order” in the subject line.
8. Damaged, Missing, or Lost Packages
We take strict measures to pack all products securely. However, if your package is damaged, missing, or tampered with, please:

Take clear photos of the outer box, label, and product.

Email us within 48 hours of delivery at support@thefifthnote.in with your order details and photos.

Our team will verify and arrange a replacement or refund as per our Return & Refund Policy.
If your package is marked as delivered but you haven’t received it, please notify us within 24 hours of the delivery update so we can coordinate with the courier.
9. Delivery Delays
While we aim to deliver every order on time, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control such as:

Unexpected courier network issues
In such cases, we will proactively keep you updated and do our best to ensure prompt delivery.
10. Packaging
All perfumes from The Fifth Note are securely packed in impact-resistant boxes with protective cushioning to ensure safe delivery.
Every order is sealed and quality-checked before dispatch to maintain product integrity.
